altreforme has attended Salone del Mobile 2015 with the charity project "altreforme goes fashion with Luisaviaroma", a limited edition of the salvador chairs, design Elena Cutolo, interpreted by important International Fashion Designers whose proceeds has been donated to charity to Oxfam Italy.
The salvador chairs, furniture from iconic design and strong personality, "wore" special outfits of autumn-winter 2015-2016 collections, designed by five avant-garde designers: Fausto Puglisi, Manish Arora, Yazbukey, KTZ and Corto Moltedo.
A special edition of the five miniature chairs is now on sale for all fans of design and fashion that have not been able to win the collector's release of the favorite chair.

Yazbukey, eccentric fashion and jewellery designers from Paris but with Ottoman origins, has taken the world of fashion accessories with inspiration from pop, characterized by a combination of iconic images, frivolous but complex and highly recognizable. The designer dresses salvador with its unique and fun graphics.

Fausto Puglisi, born in Sicily but always fascinated by the American culture, has a style characterized by refined cultural influences, modern and sensual, with strong references to the romance of the past. The classicism of ancient Roman sculptures, the opulence of baroque, hedonism of Bacchanal and even contemporary Hollywood binge and couture of the 50’s, are all sources of continuous inspiration that you can pick up in the interpretation chosen for his salvador chair.

A native of the Veneto region and New York City, Corto Moltedo's aesthetics are deeply rooted in his hybrid nature as a city dweller and a country gentleman. As a reckless globetrotter, his sensitivity embraces all branches of artistic expression: music, figurative arts and style ad we can see also in his personal interpretation of the salvador chair.

Manish Arora is an Indian designer based in New Delhi. He is known for a rich palette of psychedelic colours and kitsch motifs applied to garments that combine the traditional crafts of India as embroidery and beads with Western silhouettes. A mixture of ancient and modern well represented by his personal interpretation of the salvador chair.

KTZ is a London-based brand born from Marjan Pejoski who realizes ready-to-wear clothing with couture detailing known for its raw energy and contemporary urban edge, but also for embracing ethnographic references and multiculturalism. The KTZ label creates a dynamic combination of contrasting elements: modernity and the ancestral, the secular and the religious, anarchy and severity, spectacle and depth, elements visible also in the salvador chair edition by KTZ.
